E-Bikes, E-Scooters Prohibited

E-Bikes, E-Scooters and all E-Mobility Devices * are banned in all buildings managed by Block Management, Inc. due to several safety and regulatory concerns:

1. Fire Hazard: Lithium-Ion batteries can pose a significant fire risk if they malfunction or are improperly charged. Ensuring the safety of all residents is our top priority.

2. Space and Accessibility: E-Bikes can obstruct hallways, lobbies, and common areas, creating accessibility issues and potentially blocking emergency exits.

3. NYC Compliance: NYC FDNY regulations have specific requirements or restrictions regarding the storage and use of E-Bikes within residential buildings. Adhering to these regulations is essential for legal compliance and community safety.

*ADA Compliant Mobility Devices are exempt from this rule.
